Island Boost was developed by Laura Mildon, an easily distracted runner, who couldn’t get the hang of running and eating at the same time. Her sweaty hands couldn’t easily open foil bullet packets of gel, and running and chewing a bar was simply out of her dexterity capability. She set about creating a product that was delicious, and came in a package that would be easy to carry, could be consumed without breaking stride, and most importantly, the product would have to perform!

Today, Island Boost is led by a team of dedicated runners, cyclists, triathletes and fitness enthusiasts with a passion for performance and finicky taste buds.
